Red Ochre is a rich natural red/brown firing clay in Oxidation. Texture is 50 mesh. Not recommended for reduction. Strong dark coloured glaze response 1200℃. Suitable as a mid fire clay. Recommended bisque 1050℃ and glaze 1220-1260℃. Shrinkage rate Bisque 7%. Earthenware 8 %. Midfire 10%.
